internet sucks in boulder city. i've lost 3 posts, and can't get online. i'm using a czech computer, and we are leaving in 15 minutes for valley of fire. we are supposed to go hiking for four hours. we're just driving through looking at the highlights, then on to vegas.
the hotel internet can't support too many computers at once. i had 1bps and connection was good at best.

About This Blog and Main Characters
I am the lead chaperone on a 2-week bus trip for high school foreign exchange students throughout California and Nevada. This is my trip diary.
I love to b*tch, and probably am posting with about 3 hours sleep. I lack patience and a brain-to-mouth filter. I'm writing this for my friends and family who share my sense of humor.
CAST OF CHARACTERS-All fictional, I don't have permission to write about real people.
ROOMIE-My roommate, and assistant Tour Leader. Roomie is in charge of the trip funds. Roomie is making a return appearance from Tour 2008. Roomie is gracious, patient, and thoughtful. She's always impeccably dressed, coiffed, and manicured. We get along well because we're opposites.
DRIVER-Also a returning character from Tour 2008. Driver is consciencious, caring, and laid back. He has teens, and gets along well with the students.
LEE-first time chaperone
DOC-first time chaperone, in charge of first aid kit.
OZ-The man behind the trip, making arrangements from afar.
